Honeyball mulling BetVictor Gold Cup option for Regal Encore

Regal Encore could reappear next week in the £160,000 BetVictor Gold Cup at Cheltenham on day two of The Open, Saturday, November 12. The eight-year-old got off the mark over fences in a two-mile, one-furlong novices’ chase at Plumpton in December and signed off last season when beaten narrowly by Pleasant Company in a valuable handicap chase over three miles and a furlong at the Punchestown festival in April.
